I brought my car in, do to it overheating. Told them, I think it could be the thermostat or maybe it's a head gasket, I also inform them of other little things. The fella at front went straight into a test i should take, I asked the fella at the front desk, about the test he recommended i should get, hey sir the test you recommending i should get ran will it find out what the issue is including head gasket? He look me in the eye and told me yes. I then asked him how long would it take, he told me you get the car here today, we'll have your car ready by tomorrow. I dropped my car off that day they had my car for 3 days.I call and call then was told I'd get a text and email that I never got, till I came in and got my car. ( If I'm not mistaken I received a text message & email the day after I got my car) So once I get there they told me. We didn't find any issues with your car at all no leakage fans running as they suppose the cooling is flowing good the thermostat is doing its job, we ran your car for 45 minutes and no problems it never overheated. I ask them did you all actually drive the car, It's not going to overheat sitting idle, he then tells me we run all types of tests as if it's being driving it's good to go. I then proceed to ask so it's not a head gasket problem no white smoke no mixture with the chemicals that gas the oil, Them no none of that, we highly doubt if it's a head gasket. I take my car from there shop drive it for 10 minutes to my home, right up the street from where their located.. my car go straight into overheat when i pull in my drive way. Call them back let them know the next day, then they tell me I have to take further diagnostic test for the head gasket which probably's going to run to a $1000 plus just to see if that's the problem. So I take my car to another shop, they ran the same test.. Had my car ready the next day, as they said.. They results to the test was your thermostat is not opening and closing correctly and your fans are running slow.. So I'm not sure what test Honest-1 did but it's not what they said. And the communication with them was clearly we don't care what the problem is, are you spending money with us or not..I Feel I should be reimbursed plus more for that bogus diagnose test my time and paying for rides back and forth to work plus so much more I will not say on here...
