Did a great job. Professional service. Gave me a ride home and picked me up when done. They gave me a report for any work that needs to get done with no pressure to do it immediately or by them. I’ll come back for other services!

I’m going to share my personal experience with this shop , I came here because it’s relatively close to my house and I didn’t want to drive with damaged struts. When I arrived at the shop and explained that both of my back struts went out and the service member looked at it and explained that it might have been the two cases of Gatorades I had in the trunk (he questioned what I had in my trunk because in his mind he thought I had a heavy load inside) I was beyond baffled and quite mad he suggested such a thing but I ignored it and moved on. I left the vehicle there and got a notice with all the list of recommendations and I agreed to all of them except one (being a fuel injection cleaning ). When it came to picking up my car I reviewed the total and saw that the service I didn’t want was there, By this point I had mentioned to not get the fuel injection cleaning 3 times and they fixed the error and I paid what I asked for. One of the things I asked for was an engine coolant flush. When I arrived to thoroughly check the work that was done I noticed that my engine coolant reservoir still had quite a bit of dirt left over even though I just had paid $175 for a flush, which was very disheartening. When I finally got around to it I called in and asked about my situation, the shop told me that the dirt was part of the plastic and there should be no issue. I know that wasn’t the case because I could physically move all the dirt inside. When you pay that much for something that is l relatively simple I expected to at least have “clean” coolant with a coolant flush.

Customer service was excellent. My oil change and car checkup were thorough.

Definitely will be returning here for any future repairs!!

Our vehicle broke a CV axle one night while in South Elgin. Our roadside assistance coverage only allows us to have the vehicle towed to a nearby auto shop. We decided to choose Honest-1 Auto Care, and we're extremely happy that we did. We were very impressed with the thorough inspection report and service we received. Ramon and Bob were great and very helpful in explaining what was wrong with the vehicle, what need to be fixed, and based on the inspection what other potential issues may occur in due time. We don't really live in the area, but I will definitely consider them again for our next unfortunate repair, and I highly recommend Honest-1 in South Elgin.

Very good service here 👍 not only do they find your problems with your car they send you pictures witch to me is a assurence of honesty.They also get things done in decent time and backed up by warranty.

I went there for an alignment, and the car is driving much better now! The price was fair too. Less than $100.
